Amazing new restaurant alert! If you find yourself in the Houston area, there is a fabulous new restaurant you have to check out. The Tribute at the Houstonian offers up a gorgeously rustic fine cuisine experience inspired by Texas, Louisiana, and Mexico. I got a sneak peek of their menu and wine pairings earlier this week before their grand opening on October 26th and it was absolutely heavenly. My personal favorites were the wood Fried Gulf Oysters with Chorizo Butter and Churros with vlarhona dulce ice cream & spiced hot chocolate. While you’re at it, don’t pass up on a glass of the Agave de Cortes Reposado Mezcal!

I haven’t been to Houston, but if I ever take a trip out there I will definitely give the restaurant a try.
