We’ve all been in this nightmare situation. The roast is basting, the house is sparkling clean, the cider is being warmed, you’ve fastened on the beauty spots, and your guests will arrive within the next hour. But then you realize, you completely forgot about dessert! Frantically you search the cupboards for a hidden cookie tin or boxed brownie mix, but to no avail. Your mind flutters as you try to find an easy fix, until you realize it’s time to rush to the market. T-minus 60 minutes until your mother-in-law combs over your holiday table with a judgmental eagle eye. Fret-not my festive warrior, for I have a delicious and simple solution to this holiday dessert problem… an Edwards Desserts pie table!
Available in the frozen desserts aisle of grocery stores nationwide, you’ll find Edwards’ delicious array of thaw-and-serve crème pies. They are little tins of indulgent heaven. Not only are they absolutely delicious, they come in a variety of flavors that are sure to please all your holiday guests: HERSHEY’S® Chocolate Crème, Key Lime, Turtle, Cookies and Crème, and the seasonal Pumpkin Crème. The Edwards pies also happen to be absolutely gorgeous, so they’re a perfect addition to a last minute holiday sweets table.
So to illustrate how easy (and delicious) it is to quickly get out of a festive bind, I’ve put together a quick holiday dessert table of my own. Lay out a runner and holiday decor on an empty table, dust off all the cake stands you own, and offer up Edwards like the seasonal boss you are!
The Edwards Hershey’s Chocolate Crème Pie is absolutely divine! Perfect for the chocolate lovers in your life, it has layers of chocolate and vanilla crème, chocolate drizzle, and a chocolate cookie crumb crust. So good, I would suggest you follow my lead and purchase 2 of these pies.
Edwards Key Lime Pie is my personal favorite. It has the perfect balance of sweet and tart from real Key West lime juice. And the whipped crème rosettes are like sweet clouds of yummy goodness.
The last pie I picked up was the Edwards Turtle Pie. It has a lovely caramel filling and is topped with chocolate, pecans, and whipped crème rosettes.
Lay out some dessert plates & serveware and you have a last-minute holiday dessert table that looks anything but last-minute. Easy right?! Make sure to pick up Edwards Desserts for your next holiday gathering. And as an extra fun treat, the brand is having a contest for their fans. Share your love of Edwards Desserts on Facebook for a chance to win a limited-edition, dessert-inspired prize pack. WHAT?! Yes, heavenly! Edwards will throw one lucky winner a holiday celebration for their hometown and be treated to an exclusive dining experience.
