We’ve all been there. You’re back on the wagon, or more accurately, the stationary bicycle. You finally bit the bullet and are pursuing an active lifestyle. Spinach shakes, kale salads, SoulCycle, step-counting, fantasizing about chocolate but not actually eating it. You know, you’re being healthy. Your muscles ache, you’re looking great, but your stomach pretty much hates you. “Why are you torturing me?!”, it grumbles angrily as you reluctantly chomp into a raw piece of broccoli. I write this with such clarity because I, myself, am currently in the throws of an all out healthy lifestyle kick. And if there’s one thing that anyone who is experiencing this journey with me knows, is that it is hard to shake the guilt. So after I inhaled the guilt-free treat and had calmed myself, I went back and put together a pretty little styled shoot for you all… and let’s just pretend this is what my post-workout bowl actually looked like…
