Summer is the time for sun, surf, fresh fruit, and tequila. Yes, te-qui-la! Mix the spirit with a spectrum of seasonal fruit and a bit of bubbly and you’ll be an unstoppable master of summertime refreshment. Oh oh, that should be my DJ moniker! I’m talking Palomas, my friends. And if you aren’t acquainted with the fabulous libation, then let me introduce you. Traditionally, the cocktail is made up of tequila, grapefruit, soda water, and lemon. With the help of my friends at Sparkling Ice, we’re adding a bit more color into the mix. This is my Rainbow Fruit Paloma…
I personally love Sparkling Ice. The drinks come in 16 different natural flavors, include vitamins and antioxidants, and contain zero sugar. Not only are their drinks colorful and delicious, the brand knows how to have a bit of fun. My kind of company! They encourage unique and fun ways to play with their drinks under #GetFizzy… I highly suggest you check out the hashtag for some fun recipe ideas. But best of all, you can find all 16 flavors on Amazon here.
Even though this is a super easy recipe to whip up, let’s walk through it together anyway. Slice the fruit and add to a large glass along with the basil.
Add the grapefruit juice.
Add the tequila.
Top off with Sparkling Ice Kiwi Strawberry.
Refrigerate for 1-2 hours for optimal fruit infusion. Sip and enjoy!
If you’re up to make this in larger batches (say, times it by 4!), it makes for a great Paloma party punch!
