The Thanksgiving (Prosecco) Table

If you have ever hosted Thanksgiving Day festivities, then you know that it can be a daunting task. Cleaning, decorating, cooking, entertaining, eating, napping, and then cleaning again. It’s a lot of work. So, to help ease the blow of hosting hoards of relatives, I have a simple and fun recommendation: a Prosecco table. I have teamed up with Mionetto Prosecco for this sponsored post to share with you my go-to party drinks solution. Instead of walking around all night re-filling everyone’s glass, just set this station in a corner of the room and go enjoy your turkey. Here is what …

Sunflower Biscotti-10235

Sunflower Biscotti

[yumprint-recipe id=’45’]I’ve recently received some emails from brides-to-be who are concerned with the use of flowers for autumn-themed weddings.  In short, they feel that their only options are to use fall leaves as floral arrangements.  Although I’m certainly a sucker for the oranges and reds of the season, why not try sunflowers?  The end of their peak season is in October and they carry with them that overall feel of Autumn decadence.  Don’t believe me?  Then check out this gorgeously styled California bridal shoot and warm up with a crunchy plate of our Chocolate Hazelnut Biscotti that was inspired by …

Some kids are born into British royalty, some into money, but little Elijah was born into ridiculous creativity!  For cutie pie Eli’s first birthday, his mom decided to center the festivities around his birth month of October.  Styled and photographed by the uber talented parent, this is one birthday that’s going to be hard to match.  Complete with a gourde theme, beautiful details, and a dreamy rustic setting, you’ll be wishing you were born into this creative family!  Adding our own twist the festivities, we were inspired to create a Pumpkin Pie Caramel Apple recipe to match little Elijah’s wonderful …

Spicy Harvest Pizza-15303

Spicy Harvest Pizza

Fun fact: October is National Pizza Month. Now normally I don’t observe cockamamy made-up holidays, but this is one I can get behind. I probably shouldn’t admit this publicly, but in my household we make pizzas at lease once a week for dinner. I can hear the divide forming between my readers: the ones that think this is awesome and the ones that think this is grossly irresponsible. To the former, I send you a virtual high-five. To the later, I say that pizza is (quite, literally) what you make it. So, I often make much healthier takes on the stereotypical pie… …

Smokin Gomez Cocktail-10223

Smokin’ Gomez Cocktail

Let’s face it, Halloween themed weddings are the best!  Okay, I’ll admit that I may be a tad bit biased since All Hallows Eve just happens to be my favorite holiday and I myself got married during the spooky time of year.  Regardless, I hold fast to my statement and maintain that you really can’t get any cooler than a Halloween wedding!  So, you can imagine my delight (and audible squeal!) when I received today’s post.  Designed by the sickeningly talented Two Prince Bakery (a frosted favorite!), this is an engagement party to rival all others!  And I just couldn’t …
