There are some things in life that are almost too good to be true. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, Betty White, cheesy holiday rom-coms. When the perfect ingredients come together to make such a divine guilty pleasure recipe, it seems like the heavens have smiled down on us. Well my friends, St. Peter’s pearly gates just opened up with Drinkworks newest invention. Drinkworks Home Bar by Keurig that makes cocktails. I repeat. A single-serve that makes COCKTAILS!!! I decided to put this fabulous device to the test and add it to my favorite holiday playtime… Sipping on cocktails while listening to vintage holiday records.
Cocktails mixed with vintage holiday vinyls are my absolute favorite way to unwind with my husband during the holidays. Once the decorations are up, the twinkle lights are lit, and the little one is fast asleep, we revel in pairing classic drinks with classic LPs. Press. Play. Music. And now with the Drinkworks Home Bar added to the festivities, it makes our holiday playtime even more decadent. Minimal steps with cocktails at our fingertips and little to no cleanup, it is the perfect solution to entertaining… Merry Christmas to me!
The team member that came up with the Drinkworks Home Bar concept was undeniably living their best life. This invention should go down in history with the light bulb and the zipper. With little more to operating it than putting a drink pod into the machine (port) and pressing “Start”, the Drinkworks Home Bar has completely changed the cocktails-at-home game. This drink maker uses, what I can only imagine to be fairy dust and unicorn magic, to create delicious single-serve cocktails at home. The premium cocktail pods craft bar-quality drinks, ciders, brews and more at the literal press of a button. It’s so easy to use.
But in all seriousness, here’s how you operate the Drinkworks Home Bar. For assembly, you first add the water filter, insert the CO2 tank, and plug it in. That’s it! Then when it’s time to whip up a cocktail, all you need to do is fill the water tank, add in a pod, press start, and watch as the machine takes over. And let me tell you, these pods are fabulous. Each are liquid-filled and contain all the ingredients (including the alcohol) to make the cocktail. Drink pod options include Moscow Mule, Margaritas, Red Sangria, Whiskey Sour, and even holiday options like their seasonal Fireside Cocktails collection which includes Ginger Snap White Russian, Pomegranate Elderflower Spritzer, Spiced Punch and Winter Mule.
My husband and I decided on pairing our classic holiday music with a pair of Old Fashioned cocktails.
Music, drinks, and utter relaxation. With a reasonable price tag and drinks that cost a lot less than a night out on the town, the Drinkworks Home Bar by Keurig is a fabulous way to treat yo’ self this holiday season.
