I don’t know about the rest of the country, but here in Texas we are already steamy. With temperatures upward of 90 degrees, I am literally starting to melt and am in dire need of a refreshing drink to cool down. And since I am not one to shirk away from a daring feat, I decided to improve upon an already perfected summertime cocktail… the mojito. Because, like my Grand Pop always used to say “Why not fix a good thing?!” With the help of the new Perrier Peach, I dare say that I have outdone myself. Who wants to sip on my Peach & Coconut Mojito?!
At the risk of being hunted down by die-hard mojito fans, I must say that this Peach & Coconut Mojito recipe is more refreshing than the traditionally mixed cocktail. Featuring the flavorfully effervescent Perrier Peach Carbonated Mineral Water, white rum, fresh peach, mint, cane sugar, and coconut milk, I challenge you to name a more refreshing combination. No seriously, if you can think of any, let me know in the comments… I’m always looking for a rejuvenating cocktail ingredients. Alright, let’s get down to the recipe…
Let’s walk through the steps together, shall we? Add the mint, cane sugar, lime juice, coconut milk, and 2 peach slices (chopped) to a Collin’s glass.
Thoroughly muddle the ingredients.
Stir in the white rum.
Add ice to the glass and then top off with the Perrier Peach. I am a longtime fan of Perrier Carbonated Mineral Water and am majorly crushing on the new Perrier Peach flavor. It is a scrumptious sparkling fusion of water and peach flavor, both thirst quenching and zero calories. A win-win! Besides a fabulous cocktail ingredient, Perrier Peach is simply wonderful to have in the fridge for a refreshingly cold drink on a hot summer’s day.
Lightly stir, garnish with a peach slice and mint leaves, and enjoy!
