Cozy. Adjective: giving a feeling of comfort, warmth, and relaxation. It is the ultimate stressless state one can achieve. For me, ‘cozy’ is my softest, baggiest sweater and a hot cup of coffee. I relish in the moments that I can sit down in a quiet, sun-filled nook of my house and sip on my coffee in peace. As a working mom with a toddler, these junctures are few and far between. But every once in a while, the stars align, I happen to be wearing my coziest sweater and I get a quiet moment of caffeinated bliss. Lately, I’ve been on a quest to enhance these occasions of guilty pleasure since it is my belief that it is the little things that often make the biggest impact. Something as simple as a makeover for my comfy sweater and a new latte recipe. So to make this happen, I’ve teamed up with a lovely crafting brand to create a special design for my favorite attire and whip up an exclusive Raspberry Café Latte recipe to go with it. Here’s how I get Coffee Cozy with Craftables…
Craftables is a great company that lets you customize everything from t-shirts to market bags to baby onesies. With their heat transfer vinyl sheets that are compatible with Circut and Silhouette Cameo machines, the design possibilities are endless. I wanted to create a custom design that enhanced my coffee-sipping experience and it was ridiculously easy to accomplish. Using the Craftables heat transfer vinyl, the design was made with ease. A quick ironing on to finish the heat transfer and voila! My tired sweater had new life and a very important message to convey. To commemorate the cozy event, I also created a special (and very easy!) Raspberry Café Latte recipe, which I have included below.
Raspberry Café Latte
- 1 scoop of ground espresso
- 1/3 cup of whole milk
- 1 teaspoon of raspberry jam
- 2-3 fresh raspberries
- Brew the espresso in a regular-sized coffee cup.
- Add the raspberry jam to the espresso and mix well.
- Heat the whole milk in another coffee cup in the microwave for 30 seconds. Then, using a frother, froth the milk for approximately 15 seconds or until light and foamy.
- Pour the raspberry espresso gently into the frothy milk cup. Top with fresh raspberries and enjoy!
