Every year I get dolled up for the Emmy’s. I have a full hair and make-up team arrive at dawn. Mani and pedi while hair removal commences. Multiple gown fittings, proceeded by stitching me into a skintight dress. Designer shoes. Bling up the wazoo. Minimum of an hour practicing poses in the mirror. Then I take the important walk down the red carpet… I mean, my hallway to my living room, park myself on the couch, and don’t move for the next 6 hours as I watch the Emmy Awards on TV. This is usually a solitary viewing, as my husband now rightfully fears for his life… he switched the channel to check the football score last year right as Jennifer Lawrence arrived on the red carpet. He clearly has a death wish. Oh and the glam squad as previously described is actually non-existent… styling and cotton onesie this year will be provided by Nautica Sleepware. Yes, I will likely never have the full red carpet treatment, but there is one thing that both you and I can experience along with the stars. Ferrari Trento.
Oh yes, my friends. I have the inside scoop on what the celebrities will be drinking at this weekends’ soiree. Ferrari Trento is the official bubbly of the 69th Primetime Emmy Awards and Governor’s Ball. Italy’s most awarded sparkling wine producer will be filling the glasses of Hollywood’s most talented people. Seems like a match made in heaven to me! With it’s smooth bubbles and fruit palette, it should also be filling your glass during your viewing party. I took one for the team and taste-tested Ferrari Trento ahead of this post… as my mom would say, to make sure it wasn’t poisonous. Not only is the bottle unfailingly elegant, the liquid appropriately matches. It is a solidly classic sparkling wine with decadent bubbles and a mild sweetness that is perfect for sipping. Plus Ferrari Trento was awarded the title of “Sparkling Wine Producer of the Year” in this year’s edition of The Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships. So you will literally be drinking the best of the best along with your favorite Hollywood stars!
My lovely friends at Ferrari Trento have also sent me some fun facts about the night’s festivities. If I were you, I’d save these little factual gems to impress your guests as you refill their glasses:

This sounds like the perfect champaign for the toasting in the New Year
I love champagne. I think I would really like this. It looks really good.
I got to check out the wine for a Emmy preview day and it was so great. I can totally see why you wrote a whole blog post about them!

Agree!
I love how elegant the bottle is – I bet it tastes fantastic too. I love dressing up for the Oscars and watching them at home, so I may boggart this idea in February and serve myself some delicious Ferrari Trento!
It tastes delightful! Glad I could add to the tradition! 😉
