As I’ve mentioned in the past, my bread and butter isn’t actually this blog. My day job is serving as a food stylist and recipe developer for retail brands. I help create recipes and photo shoots for the brands’ Instagram pages, websites, and advertising campaigns. They even let me eat, I mean, clean up after I am done. It’s a tough job. Recently, I teamed up with Reese Specialty Foods to create a scrumptious recipe using their jarred artichoke hearts for their Instagram page. Well, the results were so delicious that I simply had to share it with you, my lovely readers. So bookmark this page because you’re about to get an easy appetizer recipe to add to your repertoire: Artichoke Heart Pockets!
Artichoke Heart Pockets
INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS:
Scrumptious rosemary, cheese, and artichoke heart pastry pockets for your munching pleasure. If you’re looking to be super adventurous, then replace the artichoke hearts with Reese Hearts of Palm®. They’d be a perfect addition to this eclectic pastry. Did you know that this global delicacy, is harvested from the core of certain species of palm trees? Amazing, right?! And not only are they delicious and versatile, Hearts of Palm are low in cholesterol, contain Vitamin C, and are rich in potassium. Who would have thought?! From pastry pockets to salad toppers, they’re a fantastic staple to always have in your pantry!
