Winemakers Week in Belize

Looking to plan a winter holiday to escape the frigid temperatures of the season? Then I have a suggestion: Drink wine in Belize. I know, brilliant idea, right?! The Family Coppola Hideaways is inviting guests to join them for a one-of-a-kind Winemaker Week from November 29 to December 6. This extravagantly curated wine tasting adventure will take place at both the Blancaneaux Lodge and Turtle Inn in Belize. Hosted by a winemaker from the award-winning Francis Ford Coppola Winery, this trip is perfect for those seeking relaxation, intrigue, and good wine.

I personally cannot think of anything more sexy than romping around Belize and learning about fine wine. The trip commences with three nights at Blancaneaux Lodge, exploring jungles and waterfalls by day, then retreating to luxurious accommodations and exclusive winemaker dinners at night.

After three days in the jungle eating, drinking, and being merry, you will then escape to the Caribbean Sea for four nights at Turtle Inn. There your days will be filled with lounging on the beach, snorkeling, and kayaking. Oh yeah, and wine!

You can view the full itinerary here, but in the meantime here are some of the highlights: daily meals with a master Coppola Winery winemaker, cave tours, lunch on a private island, wine tasting in a Wine Aquarium, and much much more. Best of all, the travel package price includes the winemaker tastings and dinners, exclusive amenities, transportation options between hideaways, activities and accommodations at Blancaneaux Lodge and Turtle Inn. And with prices starting at around $2,800 per person, it’s truly an incredible deal. Oh and don’t forget to invite your beloved favorite food blogger to join your party… no seriously, I make a mean sand-castle!

Special thanks to my friends at Francis Ford Coppola Winery for sharing the delightful details and photos with us!

    1. Agreed! Like their wines and films, the Coppola family knows how to realize quality resort living. And at the very least, it is certainly a place to add to the bucket list for a future time. čÖé
