I would like to talk with you honestly about bragging rights. You want them. I want them. It is the unspoken desire of every person that has ever hosted a summer pool party. You want your party to rival all others, am I right? You want your house to be the go-to floating paradise that all your friends rave about. I get it. My competitive nature and Pinterest obsession dictate that I have an insatiable need to throw a killer party. One of the best ways to secure those bragging rights are through a signature poolside cocktail. With the help of the H-E-B Limited Edition Watermelon Slice Pure Cane Sugar Soda (whew, that was a mouthful), I have created a drink recipe that is sure to place your summer party in the ‘epic’ category. Fancy a Watermelon Cream Fizz Cocktail?
Watermelon Cream Fizz Cocktail
1 can of H-E-B Limited Edition Watermelon Slice Pure Cane Sugar Soda (found in stores)
4 ounces of gin
2 ounces of triple sec
½ cup of canned frozen lemonade
1 cup of diced watermelon
2 tablespoons of marshmallow fluff
1 tablespoon of strawberry cream cheese
Extra killer hosting tip: Pick up some fresh flowers from H-E-B’s floral department and scatter them about your outdoor bar… it’ll scream “Instagram-worthy!”. Make sure to explore your local H-E-B store to pick up all the supplies you’ll need to secure your bragging rights. And don’t forget to check out the market’s Primo Picks section for the newest unique products.
