Let’s face it, Halloween themed weddings are the best! Okay, I’ll admit that I may be a tad bit biased since All Hallows Eve just happens to be my favorite holiday and I myself got married during the spooky time of year. Regardless, I hold fast to my statement and maintain that you really can’t get any cooler than a Halloween wedding! So, you can imagine my delight (and audible squeal!) when I received today’s post. Designed by the sickeningly talented Two Prince Bakery (a frosted favorite!), this is an engagement party to rival all others! And I just couldn’t resist imagining my own take on the event’s “Smokin’ Gomez Cocktail” (get the recipe below).
SMOKIN’ GOMEZ COCKTAIL
- 4 ounces of Laphroaig Whisky
- 2 ounces of averna liqueur
- 1.5 ounces of cynar liqueur
- 0.5 ounces of elderflower liqueur
- 1/2 of an egg white
- 1 ice cube
- Combine all of the ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for approximately 30 seconds.
- Strain into tumblers or cocktail glasses and enjoy!
