Football season is around the corner, my friends. With that comes blood, sweat, tears, and tailgating. Whether you’re planning a parking lot BBQ in the stadium or an at-home viewing fest, you need to get your cocktail repertoire in order. Now I could sit here and list off a litnay of perfectly acceptable, but rather unoriginal football booze ideas – craft beer, margarita mixers, vodka shooters. That’s not what I’m going to do here today. When the Texas Pete brand hired me to create a recipe for the sporty season, I decided it was time to address the unspoken (and rather embarrassing) truth about football in America. We’re all losers.
Only one team wins in the end, thus there are an awful lot of losers at these parties. Most of us are losers. You’re a loser. I’m a loser. We’re losers. There, I said it. You know what I am talking about, your team just isn’t on point this year or you accidentally washed your lucky socks and subsequently your team lost the big game. Well, this drink is for you. Using the spicy CHA! by Texas Pete® Sriracha Sauce, I created a unique take on a Bloody Mary that is sure to both console and fuel the fire in your fighting heart. We’ve got vodka. We’ve got tomato and lemon. We’ve got Sriracha. Top it with buffalo wing and rosemary skewers and we’re unstoppable. Yeah I’m looking at you, smug wearer of the winning team’s jersey. What?! I’ve got my drink in one hand, my heavy heart in the other, and the hope of a better season next year. Let’s do this…
SRIRACHA BLOODY MARY
