Coffee & Donuts DIY Party

Coffee and Donuts Party Theme - 'How To' Guide Let me tell you a little bit about the designer of today’s feature. Her name is Carolyn and she is awesome! To surprise her husband, Justin, on his 30th birthday, she threw the (dare I say) most badass party ever in the history of badassery. That’s right, she threw her husband a Coffee & Donuts party.  Alright, Carolyn is officially the best wife around. When I saw these photos, my first thought was “How do I become friends with Carolyn?!”, my second thought was “I need to recreate this!”. So, if you plan on jumping on this fabulous bandwagon and want to recreate the fabulousness that is this party, then read on. Below you will find my broken down “recipe” to recreate this dessert table. All I ask is that you say a silent thank you to the brilliance that is Carolyn’s mind for coming up with this idea and then shoot me over an invite… I’m an excellent donut tester!

COFFEE & DONUTS PARTY RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
  1. 3 to 5 tiered cake stands
  2. 2 vases
  3. 1 package of kebab skewers
  4. 1 ice bucket
  5. 3 milk jugs
  6. 2 mini mason jars
  7. 15 to 20 disposable coffe cups
  8. 30 disposable dessert plates
  9. 2 coffee thermoses or carafes
  10. 1 6-inch cake
  11. 3 to 4 dozen donuts (variety)
  12. 2 to 3 dozen donut holes
  13. 5 to 6 bags of coffee beans
  14. 3 varieties of creamer
  15. 1 cup of sugar
  16. 1 cup of sweetener
  17. 1 bag of ice
  18. OPTIONAL: Empty burlap coffee bags and donut banner for decor.
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. On a large table, place the 3 tiered cake stands and fill them with the donuts. As the centerpiece, place the 6-inch cake on the top of the center stand and decorate with extra donuts if available.
  2. Fill the two vases half full with coffee beans. Skewer the donut holes on the kebab skewers and place them in the vases like bouquets.
  3. Place the sweetener and sugar in the mini mason jars for serving. In the same vein, place the creamers in the milk jugs. Fill the ice bucket with ice and place the milk jugs inside for display.
  4. Brew a minimum of 20 cups of coffee for each carafe and place on the table along with the cups and plates.
  5. Decorate appropriately and enjoy!
