Follow the Arrow

When choosing nursery decor, it’s easy to get hung up on the big ticket items like a rocker or crib.  But the real design comes from the small, thoughtful touches.  The decorative bunting banner hung on the wall, the themed stuffed animals, the throw pillows… this is where their little world comes to life.  Today’s nursery is a fantastic example of the small details making the space.  Running with a modern woodland theme featuring plenty of arrows, the stage is set from little adventures.  Photographer Carlyn Pecchia takes us into this dreamy world:

“Adventure Awaits,” reads the onesie hanging in Baby Kohen’s nursery.  Jenna and Tim are anxiously awaiting their greatest adventure to date as Kohen’s due date inches slowly closer. The long winter has broken, and spring has started showing her face here in Ohio. Jenna and Tim live in Dayton, and their home was such a perfect location to use for their sweet maternity session. Green buds were popping up on the trees everywhere, and even some pretty flowers were blooming. It felt so perfect for this maternity session! Kohen’s nursery is unlike any other I have seen before, and I absolutely love the unique decor Tim and Jenna chose for their little one. I think Kohen will be a little adventurer for sure.
