Wedding vendors get to create the weddings of betrothed dreams. However, these dreams are usually other peoples’ – brides’, grooms’, in-laws’. So it’s always fun to see what vendors come up with when there’s no vision to fulfill other than their own. Take today’s stylized shoot, for example. Letting off some creative steam, Julie Crawford of Jewels Photography explains the process:
Every girl has their dream wedding planned, or at least most have an idea of the style they want – this is mine. Jewels Photography has recently expanded to join Nashville. I love all this city has to offer – the creativity the diversity, the vibe, the whole shebang. When deciding on this huge expansion, I thought what better way to introduce myself to Nashville than will a stylized shoot that fits who I am. I joined some of the city’s finest wedding vendors to bring you this urban, elegant styled wedding at One at Cannery Row.
The Cannery wedding venue gave the shoot just the right urban feel I was going for. Wanting to have a touch of class, I chose Maggie Sottero’s Brandy dress from Glitz Nashville bridal store. I am pretty sure when I get married, this will be my dress! Our model has such a classy look and wore the dress stunningly. The glamorous hair and red lipstick sparks so much sophistication – provided by Bishop’s Salon and Cally Mae Hair. I wanted to incorporate a touch of peacock in this purple and teal theme with a touch of sparkle. By adding champagne sequin and bronze flowers in the mix, the perfect creation was made. The Frosted Affair baked some of the tastiest macarons, provided cake pops, and a gorgeous wedding cake for the event. Designs In Paper created custom gold foil cards.
