Belated love is often sweetest. For Shonda and John, this was certainly true. Incorporating their children into their ceremony was essential in the merging of these two beautiful families. Photographer Brian Minson explains:
The second time around can be the best! Shonda met John online through a friend of theirs. John is a helicopter pilot who was living in Texas, but after meeting Shonda had to marry her and move to Arizona. Their wedding was held up in the beautiful mounts of Greer, Arizona. Only one road in and one road out. Their ceremony was performed at the Johnson’s River Retreat next to a flowing river and a beautiful branch heart altar. While it was raining and snowing in late May, this couple knew it was worth it! The reception was held at the oldest hotel in Arizona, Molly Butler Lodge. Their cake was displayed on a custom designed box made from over 100 year old wood. The couple danced and celebrated the night away with friends and family.
