Some people are born into nobility. Some born into an oil fortune. Lucky little Brooks was born into circus royalty! Photographer Tamesha Bendaw explains:
What happens when your mom is a marketing guru for Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey Circus? You’re destined to have a jaw-dropping and absolutely amazing circus-inspired first birthday party. With the birthday boy dressed as a ring master, there were simply no details left to chance. This northern Virginia family transformed their living room into a make-shift circus tent, complete with a magic show by a circus clown, decoration, and circus treats.
Guests were greeted with an enlarged version of the party invite printed with classic circus typography. The little circus goers had their faces painted by Molly the Clown and had a live magic show to enjoy. The goodies were loaded with lots of sweet treats and traditional circus favorites, such as animal crackers, candy peanuts, and fresh popcorn. What we loved most about this party is the age appropriateness of both the decorations, food, and activities. This was certainly one over-the-top first birthday celebrations under the big top.
