Let’s be honest with one another… weddings are overpriced. From the thousands spent on flowers that will die the next day to the dress you’ll only wear for a few hours, the costs of unnecessaries really add up. So, it’s nice to see what a little elbow grease and a lot of creativity can accomplish (especially in regards to the pocket-book). Take for example newlywed DIYers, Pamela and Don. For their Florida nuptials, do-it-yourself was the name of the game and the results couldn’t have been more spectacular. Photographer Cassandra VanCuren breaks down the handmade details:
From the moment I met Pamela and Don, I knew they would be a joy to photograph! This couple just radiates joy and love. Pamela did such an amazing job putting this wedding together. There were so many creative DIY touches, including the wedding bouquets and mason jar favors. Wishing Well Barns was a beautiful venue and they did a wonderful job helping plan this wedding. I was also so touched to see the different ways the couple used their engagement photos in the decorations. It was a wonderful day!
