In the gorgeous woods behind the historic Highland Manor, we created this Halloween-styled scene pulling inspiration from antique gothic decor and Tim Burton. We wanted to create a scene that was lush and beautiful, with a creepy twist. Antique vessels were filled with gorgeous dahlias, gerberas, and callas. These fresh blooms, paired with unexpected elements like animal skins and skulls, helped us create the beautiful and spooky scene. Some of our favorite details were the tiny terrariums filled with moss, black ravens, and vintage baby doll heads. The place settings combined elegant fine china with rustic seeded eucalyptus and skeleton bones. The juxtaposition of old rusty pieces with the bright green ground created some serious drama!
